Our workplace values

Our values help our people understand what we stand for and provide both guidance for their work, and a sense of alignment. They enable our people to ‘live’ our company’s purpose, vision and mission. Values set a backbone on behavioural norms and determine how decisions are made to achieve our vision and goals, especially during times of transformational change.

We strive to be the world’s most responsible timber manufacturer – safely and efficiently manufacturing world-class timber products that make a positive impact for future generations. 

In September 2020, Timberlink committed to reduce scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 53% (based on FY18 emissions) by 2030, placing us at the forefront of all companies who have set science based carbon reduction targets (SBTi’s) in Australia.

Getting home safely

Safety at Timberlink is paramount, and it is why we launched our HOME SAFE program.

Everyone deserves to go home safely to their families at the end of each day. To ensure that this deeply held value is carried out at all levels of the company, the HOME SAFE program is built upon the following principles:

  • All injuries and incidents are preventable
  • Above-the-line behaviours including identifying, reporting and, where possible, fixing hazards; reporting all incidents; following procedures & practices
  • No task is worth compromising safety for
  • Everyone getting HOME SAFE is achievable
