Timberlink Australia & New Zealand is a sustainable leading softwood timber products manufacturing and distribution business, employing over 600 people. Our world class manufacturing sites are located close to some of the best renewable plantation pine resources in the world - Bell Bay in Tasmania & Tarpeena in South Australia. Our fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products are suitable for building new homes, renovation projects and other industrial manufacturing applications including packaging, pallets, and furniture components.

Complementing our already diverse range of products, we will be manufacturing new timber products including cross laminated & glue laminated timber (NeXTimber) and wood-plastic composite decking & screening, expanding our business into new markets in 2023. These products will take Timberlink from being primarily a structural timber manufacturer to a structural engineered timber products and solutions business.

About the role:

Due to continued growth and volume our Tasmanian mill, situated in Bell Bay, (about half an hour from Launceston) has a number of full-time production positions. We provide full on the job training, working four days a week with the opportunity to work an extra day, if available, at overtime rates!!! (based on a 38 hour working week).

These roles are on rotating day and afternoon shifts working Monday afternoon to Friday morning (4.15pm-2.15am) when on afternoon shift and (5.30am – 3.30pm) when on day shift with a rotating day off each week.

What we require you to have:

• Able to show initiative and eye for detail
• Forklift licence preferable but not essential (opportunity to obtain)
• Own car and licence
• Capable of physical and manual labour as well as machine operating tasks
• Ability to complete a full medical (including D&A screening)
