Our fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products are suitable for building new homes, renovation projects and other industrial manufacturing applications including packaging, pallets, and furniture components.

Complementing our already diverse range of products, we are now manufacturing new timber products including cross laminated & glue laminated timber (NeXTimber) and wood-plastic composite decking & screening, expanding our business into new markets. These products will take Timberlink from being primarily a structural timber manufacturer to a structural engineered timber products and solutions business.

About the role:

An opportunity has arisen for a manufacturing team leader to join our team at our Tarpeena Mill (20 minutes from Mount Gambier). The main objective of this role is to provide outstanding support and guidance to your crew on a daily basis, ensuring that production is completed on time and in line with the daily requirements.

The successful candidate will be required to work Sunday to Thursday Night Shift - 10pm - 6am  and is a key permanent, full time role in our business. Please note that previous experience in manufacturing or blue collar environments, is not essential - if you have strong people leadership skills and a desire to understand processes, then we would welcome your application.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the training of production personnel
  • Provide general advice and service to all crew members
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to drive production outcomes
  • Understand and implement quality control standards and conditions in line with quality procedures
  • Actively promote a safety-first culture
